For this Greek Easter we were asked to bring a Greek Taverna to their backyard! We brought in blue and white checkered linens with blue chairs to really enhance the theme and completed the look with gorgeous florals.
Company Clam Bake
This company wasted no time when finding out that they were able to gather again! This nautical inspired clam bake picnic was a great way to get together again. Creating one long feasting table allowed for everyone to sit together to enjoy a nice dinner. They even got to play some backyard games!
Asian Inspired Sweet 16
With only about two weeks of planning we transformed this back yard patio into a fully immersive asian inspired sweet 16 location! Janet and the team pulled together everything from the seating, catering, tent and of course decor for this install that left the birthday girl stunned. We have lots of great materials for any theme and let that shine through while keeping the table settings and decor super simple. Plus check out that cool self service bar with drinks from Bar Cart Events and the incredible cake from Eet Gud Bakery!
Thanksgiving Dinner
In the times of a pandemic, you want to safely get together with your family. This Thanksgiving dinner was an outdoor experience with great lighting, fancy pumpkins, and mini corn!
Smoke & Fire 50th Birthday
The Janet Makrancy team took the lead on the planning and the decor for this smokin’ 50th birthday. The guest of honor enjoyed whiskey and cigars on his free time which lead to a great idea for a party. The client’s backyard was a great space for an open-air environment during the pandemic. We pulled together delicious catering from Piccolo Trattoria, curated beverages from BarCart Events, and even a cigar roller from The Mobile Cigar Lounge. Each vendor provided a selection of goods and services that went well with the overall theme. Janet’s vision for this event included fire pit lounge areas, rustic wooden tables and chairs, bistro lighting to create an intimate ambiance, and centerpieces made up of orange and burgundy florals with loose greenery and even accented with cigar boxes!
Elegant Housewarming Event
Janet and the team took the lead on planning and project management as well as decor for this elegant housewarming party for a NJ family. Coordination started with a lengthy guest list, elaborate food and beverage program and challenging site plan but we were able to add an amazing tent and outdoor lounge area to accommodate over 300 party goers for a one of a kind experience. The tent’s odd shape was used as an advantage to develop an asymmetrical ceiling decor installation accented with simple bistro lighting and an abstract live chandelier that incorporates the draping that stretches out over the area. The live appetizer stations, buffets and table decor all tied together succulents, purple and pink flowers, as well as natural wood and antique items to complete the look. Throughout the night guests enjoyed top notch bar and food service including cocktails and mocktails along with a south Asian fusion inspired menu. Unique activities like a tarot card reader, DJ and digital caricaturist filled out an engaging outdoor area for guests to extended the party outside the tent. Overall it was an amazing event the whole team was proud to be a part of!
